The IMR 7828SSC magnum rifle powder has the same burn rate as the standard IMR7828 and uses the same data. However, due to the super short grains, the dosage is practically as good as that of a spherical powder. It allows up to 4% more powder room in the case and, in many loads, produces more velocity than the 7828 standard. Such loads are marked with an asterisk in the data to show where the IMR7828 standard does not fit.
