The polymer frame incorporates generous stippling patches and Memory Pads to provide maximum, control, retention, and positive hand positioning. The integrated Picatinny rail allows for the attachment of weapons mounted lights and laser aiming devices. The manual safety and slide release are positioned above the thumb for easy manipulation. The G3 has a consistent 6-lb trigger pull with a smooth take-up and a surprisingly crisp trigger break. Unlike most striker fired pistols the G3 has the capability to “restrike” the trigger without resetting the action. The G3 trigger features an articulated trigger safety and a short reset which promotes quick, controlled follow-up shots. The steel alloy slide has a matte black Tenifer finish which is extremely durable and corrosion resistant. The slide is topped with a steel fixed white dot front sight and a serrated steel drift adjustable rear sight.
