Ramshot LRT smokeless powder is newly manufactured, meaning it has not been extracted from loaded ammo and is not military surplus powder. All Ramshot LRT load data, LRT powder, TAC Ramshot, and powders in the Ramshot family have a double base and a spherical shape. Ramshot LRT (Long Range Target) is aimed at 338 Lapua shooters. The recording speed is similar to that of Retumbo.

For greater precision, LRT provides high load densities and minimal standard deviations. Winchester Super-X .30-30 Winchester, Ramshot TAC Load Data meters more readily and creates flatter trajectories than competing fuels, which may be of preference to hunters who prefer the benefits of overbore magnums such as the 257 Weatherby or 30 Nosler.
